Helping Nevada's
Small Businesses
Start, Grow & Thrive

The Office of Small Business Advocacy (OSBA) serves as a point of contact to state and local government agencies for owners of businesses with twenty (20) or fewer employees.

Our team is here to help resolve issues and find solutions.

Lieutenant Governor's

Office of Small Business Advocacy

Small business owners face many issues when starting, operating, or closing their businesses. OSBA was created to help small business owners navigate hurdles related to licensing, funding, and business regulations. Our team works in the following three ways:

Support

OSBA receives, reviews, and resolves challenges faced by small business owners.

Monitor

OSBA compiles and analyzes small business challenges and barriers to entry and monitor federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies relating to small businesses.

Recommend

OSBA provides information and makes recommendations to governmental agencies and the Legislature.

Help Is A Click Away

Entrepreneurs have a lot on their plate – from managing payroll, taxes, HR issues, marketing, and running their business. On top of that, they also have to deal with regulatory policies, licensing agencies, and confusing local laws. The OSBA team is here to make things easier.

You Don't Have To Take Our Word For It...

“Thank you taking the time to assist me with navigating through the process of doing business with the State of Nevada.  My company has been in business for eight years and we have never figured out how to work our way through the process. OSBA’s guidance and support has been a tremendous help.”
